ABOUT THE ROLE
The ISO 9001 Quality Management Lead will be a pivotal figure in LeoVegas's pursuit of excellence. This role is tasked with ensuring that all organizational processes and systems are aligned with ISO 9001 standards, thereby enhancing operational efficiency, bolstering customer satisfaction, and ensuring unwavering regulatory compliance. This is a unique opportunity to not only implement and manage a QMS but to actively shape and embed a pervasive culture of quality within a fast-paced, innovative iGaming environment.
The iGaming sector presents specific challenges and opportunities for quality management, particularly concerning software development, user experience, and service delivery. This role will be instrumental in optimizing processes, reducing operational risks, and ensuring that LeoVegas's products and services consistently meet and exceed user expectations. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The ISO 9001 Quality Management Lead will have a wide-ranging impact across LeoVegas. Key responsibilities include:
QMS Development and Implementation:
- Spearhead the design, meticulous implementation, and continuous evolution of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring it is precisely tailored to LeoVegas’s unique iGaming operations and fully aligned with the company's strategic direction and operational context.
- Ensure the QMS comprehensively addresses the specific requirements of software development life cycles within the iGaming industry, to enhance software quality and reliability. This involves defining, deploying, and maintaining all QMS processes and preparing essential QMS documentation.
Process Management and Optimization:
- Systematically define, document, and map key business processes across all departments, proactively identifying areas for improvement to enhance operational efficiency, minimize waste, and elevate service quality.
- Champion a process-oriented approach throughout LeoVegas, fostering robust collaboration with various departments to seamlessly integrate quality processes into their daily workflows and decision-making. This focus on streamlined operations directly contributes to "increased efficiency, fewer mistakes, and less wasted time".
Auditing and Compliance:
- Develop, execute, and manage a comprehensive program of internal audits to rigorously verify compliance with ISO 9001 standards, internal policies, and iGaming regulatory requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison for and facilitate external audits conducted by certification bodies and relevant regulatory authorities, ensuring organizational preparedness and the effective, timely resolution of any findings.
- Continuously monitor and ensure strict adherence to all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements pertaining to quality management within the dynamic iGaming sector.
- Facilitate regular management reviews of the QMS, delivering comprehensive reports on its performance, overall effectiveness, opportunities for enhancement, and any needs for strategic change or innovation.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Oversee the development, maintenance, and stringent control of all QMS documentation, including but not limited to the Quality Manual, operating procedures, work instructions, and quality records.
- Establish, monitor, and analyze key quality metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), providing regular, insightful reports on QMS performance to senior management to inform strategic decisions. KPIs will include audit results, compliance rates, and process efficiency improvements.
Training and Communication:
- Design, develop, and deliver targeted training programs to ensure all employees clearly understand their specific roles and responsibilities within the QMS and are thoroughly versed in foundational quality principles and practices.
- Act as a key advocate for promoting a deeply ingrained culture of quality and continuous improvement across all departments and levels within LeoVegas. This includes ensuring employees understand how their work contributes to QMS objectives.
- Liaise effectively with a diverse range of internal stakeholders, including software development teams, operations, legal & compliance, marketing, and senior management, to ensure the QMS effectively supports their objectives and integrates seamlessly with their functions.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
- Certification as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor is highly preferred. Alternatively, certification as an ISO 9001 Lead Implementer will be considered a significant advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of proven, hands-on experience in developing, implementing, and managing ISO 9001 compliant Quality Management Systems. This experience should clearly demonstrate the capacity to lead these efforts autonomously.
- A strong, practical understanding of risk management principles, frameworks, and assessment practices.
- Excellent leadership and influencing capabilities, with a proven ability to drive organizational change and cultivate a quality-first culture across diverse teams. This aligns directly with the LeoVegas attitude of "We Make it Happen".
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities. Must be capable of engaging effectively and persuasively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from technical teams to senior executives.
