React Developer

Tactica is a ‘Remote-First’ company and although we enjoy each other’s company, we are working 99% remotely!  The 1% are the in-person parties you won’t want to miss. Candidates must be legally allowed to work in, and be located in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new mobile apps, websites, and web applications that align with our clients’ goals.
• Assist with application architecture and strategize solutions for technical challenges.
• Research and implement tools, frameworks, and libraries to enhance development processes.
• Collaborate closely with designers to craft cutting-edge user interfaces and experiences.
• Support and maintain existing apps and systems to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of Front-End development experience with a portfolio demonstrating excellence.
• Post-secondary education in computer science, software development, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency with React and React Native, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience – this is a mandatory requirement. 
• Experience with Vue.js and familiarity with other JavaScript frameworks is beneficial.
• Advanced skills in HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript technologies.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating with RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality.
• Hands-on experience with responsive design techniques for cross-platform usability.
• Familiarity with Node.js, Ruby on Rails, or CMS-based website development.
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks for reactive applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teams and clients.
