The Regional Intelligence Manager, Data Centers at Google is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure infrastructure within a defined geographical region. This involves executing and improving the threat analysis and crisis services program for Google's Technical Infrastructure (TI). Key responsibilities include delivering timely threat assessments, intelligence briefings, participating in incident response, defining and executing threat intelligence program strategy, and partnering with cross-functional teams. The role requires collaboration with Facilities Management to create innovative security strategies and risk assessment plans. The position requires experience in security or threat intelligence, understanding of the intelligence lifecycle, and expertise in online research tools and physical security threats.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years in security/threat intelligence
  • Experience with intelligence lifecycle
  • Threat assessment & briefing delivery
  • Incident response participation
Good to have:
  • Project Management Certification
  • Executive briefing experience
  • GCP or cloud computing experience
  • Security analysis tools expertise
  • Knowledge of emerging security threats

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years experience working in a security or threat intelligence position in the public or private sector.
  • Experience with the intelligence lifecycle, online research tools, and physical security threats and trends.
  • Experience in threat intelligence.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Project Management.
  • Experience creating and delivering executive level briefings/presentations.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other cloud computing environments as well security analysis tools and techniques.
  • Experience with incident response procedures and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of emerging security threats and trends.
  • Understanding of the intelligence lifecycle, online research tools, and physical security threats and trends.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $97,500-$143,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe and secure infrastructure within a defined geographical region through executing and continuously improving the threat analysis and crisis services program for Google’s Technical Infrastructure (TI).
  • Coordinate timely, accurate, and delivery of threat assessments, intelligence briefings, and short position papers that influence decision making and business continuity.
  • Participate in incident response and deliver clear/concise communications documenting impacts and response actions for key stakeholders. Participate in on-call schedule including nights and weekends.
  • Assist in defining and executing the threat intelligence program strategy for Google’s technical infrastructure.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify security threats to their business.
