Job Description

This Renewals Sales II role focuses on expanding Looker's business by maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers. Responsibilities include driving pipeline, managing renewal cycles, expanding the customer base within existing organizations, exceeding quarterly goals, increasing customer engagement, building campaigns and testimonials, and collaborating with account teams. The role requires managing customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor, handling annual renewals, ensuring high customer satisfaction, verifying agreements and data integrity, and strategizing renewal scenarios. Proactive management of a portfolio of annual customer renewals is key, along with promoting cross-selling strategies and building a strong pipeline.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in renewals, account management, sales quota carrying role, or a customer-facing role in the Enterprise, Business Intelligence, or Cloud Sales space.
  • Experience in the Business Intelligence industry.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing multiple tasks with shifting priorities and varying deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Looker's products and the value they provide to customers.
  • Ability to motivate, be goal oriented, and work separately.
  • Excellent communication skills.

About the job

In this role, you will be focused on renewals and expansion business, you will help us grow our Looker business by maintaining and growing relationships with our existing customer base. You will work with customers to deliver the business value, demonstrate product functionality, and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases. You will accelerate business growth by engaging with our clients, building internal/external alignment, and successfully manage opportunities in an overlay model to the Field Sales organization.

You will also prospect, qualify, develop, and facilitate Looker opportunities for growth through cloud driven business transformation. You will build a pipeline and work with account teams to create customer solutions and drive agreements. You will lead day-to-day relationships with external customer stakeholders, leading with empathy, while identifying innovative ways to multiply your impact and the impact of the team as a whole.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $96,000-$141,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive pipeline, manage renewal cycles, and expand the customer base, promoting Business Intelligence solutions to new groups inside existing customer organizations while delivering or exceeding against quarterly business and growth goals.
  • Increase engagement and experience for customers and prospects, building scalable and referenceable campaigns and testimonials alongside the account teams to maximize your territory.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with customers, actively collaborating long-term strategic direction and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor while proactively managing a portfolio of annual customer renewals, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and growth.
  • Verify agreements, data integrity of all quotes, review terms and conditions to ensure renewal subscriptions are in line with company guidelines and policy and strategize with the business organization on different renewal scenarios, promote and cross-sell strategies.
