Job Description

As a Sales Manager at Google Customer Solutions (GCS), you'll lead and coach a team of Account Executives, focusing on consultative sales to understand advertiser needs and deliver impactful solutions. You'll manage client relationships at the C-level, developing long-term strategies and collaborating cross-functionally. Responsibilities include setting team priorities, achieving growth goals, presenting Google advertising products, and building a strong understanding of Google's offerings. Fluency in English and Polish is essential for managing client relationships in the designated region. You'll also contribute to the overall strategic direction of the sales team, working closely with sales leadership.
Must have:
  • 8+ years experience in advertising sales or business development
  • People management experience
  • Fluent in English and Polish
  • Consultative sales skills
  • C-level engagement and relationship building
Good to have:
  • Experience in commercial teams (sales, marketing)
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing
  • Understanding of multichannel and consumer good dynamics
  • Sales team operations management (portfolio, KPIs)
  • Coaching sales behaviors (objection handling, competitive selling)

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 11 years of industry experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, or 8 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with people management.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Polish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Track record in commercial teams (e.g., sales, marketing).
  • Knowledge of traditional and online marketing strategy and tactics or multichannel experience.
  • Understanding of multichannel and consumer good dynamics.
  • Ability to own Sales team operations in Poland: portfolio management, team building, KPI measurement, and execution.
  • Ability to model and coach sales behaviors including C-level engagement, effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling.

You will also work with the sales leadership team to set strategic objectives and run the day-to-day operations for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Account Executives, set and communicate team priorities and make decisions and support activities that align with Google’s values. Build and manage relationships with C-level clients and senior partner stakeholders.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Structure a clear, long-term joint strategy between Google and clients, and lead a cross-functional team within Google to collaborate on projects and drive client success.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
