As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) focused on C++, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of our games. Your expertise will allow you to design, implement, and maintain testing frameworks and automation strategies that provide essential insights into the quality and performance of our titles. Collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders, your mission will be to advocate for testing and quality assurance practices, creating robust test environments that empower the development team to deliver an exceptional gaming experience.

Key Duties Include

• Designing and implementing comprehensive testing frameworks that facilitate efficient test practices
• Championing automated testing solutions across the development pipeline
• Collaborating closely with development teams to identify quality risks and establish effective mitigation strategies
• Performing code reviews and providing guidance on best practices in test-driven development
• Actively sharing data derived from testing processes to drive informed development decisions
• Mentoring junior team members and promoting a culture of excellence in testing
• Engaging in our collaborative and creative team spirit

• Significant experience as an SDET or Software Engineer with a strong focus on testing
• Proficient in C++ programming language
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while being an integral part of a collaborative team
• Passion for video games and a commitment to quality

Desirable

• Experience working with Unreal Engine 4 or 5
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, or GitLab CI
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS or Azure
• Prior experience in a game development environment
