Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Content Marketing Manager to lead our content initiatives and drive strategic growth for our B2B SaaS offerings. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in content marketing, content strategy, and team management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B companies and at least 3 years managing core teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy tailored to B2B SaaS, aligned with company goals.
- Own the content calendar, ensuring a regular cadence of high-quality, valuable content.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, customer success) to ensure content is relevant and impactful.
Content Creation & Optimization:
- Write, edit, and oversee the production of a wide range of content assets, including blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, case studies, webinars, and landing pages.
- Ensure all content is optimized for SEO, increasing organic traffic and engagement.
- Repurpose existing content to extend its reach and relevance across multiple channels.
Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content writers, editors, and designers.
- Provide strategic direction and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the content team.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Track and analyze content performance through key metrics (traffic, engagement, lead generation, etc.).
- Use data insights to continuously optimize content strategy and execution.
- Present regular reports on content performance and make data-driven recommendations.
Collaboration & Cross-functional Alignment:
- Work closely with the demand generation, product marketing, and sales teams to ensure content supports lead generation and conversion goals.
- Align content initiatives with product launches, sales campaigns, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B content marketing, preferably in the SaaS space.
- At least 3 years of experience in managing and leading a content or marketing team.
Content Expertise:
- Proven ability to write compelling and conversion-focused content, with a solid understanding of the buyer's journey.
- Expertise in crafting long-form content (whitepapers, case studies) as well as short-form (blogs, emails, social).
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in SEO, content management systems (CMS), and analytics tools.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo, etc.) is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
