GoFundMe's Creative Studio seeks a Senior Copywriter to conceptualize and execute marketing campaigns across various media (social, email, digital, and traditional). This role demands versatility, handling both large-scale 360 briefs and smaller tactical projects. Responsibilities include brainstorming creative concepts, refining campaigns, collaborating with marketing, PR, and product teams, iterating on ideas, and ensuring brand consistency while pushing creative boundaries. The ideal candidate will possess strong storytelling abilities, a collaborative spirit, and a passion for making a positive impact. They must be adept at adapting tone and style for different audiences and channels.

Join us! GoFundMe’s Creative Studio is looking for a conceptual Senior Copywriter to join our small and mighty team. This role is for someone who can bounce between big 360 briefs and tactical one-off briefs—often in the same day. You’re adept at working within brand guidelines but you also know when to push creative into new territories. You know how to think big, sweat the details, and make it all sound good. This role will give you the opportunity to make a positive impact with your creativity, and  contribute to meaningful projects that inspire billions of dollars of generosity.

The Job…

  • Brainstorm and develop creative concepts. First quantity, then quality.
  • Refine and execute campaigns for social, email, digital, and traditional media
  • Work closely with marketing, PR, and product to help our story cut through
  • Iterate on ideas and deliver polished work with a high level of craft
  • Bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the team
  • Develop concepts that resonate with our audience and reflect brand values
  • Help define and evolve our brand voice

You…

  • Strong portfolio of conceptual thinking and copywriting
  • 5-10 years of experience as a copywriter
  • Penchant for storytelling, especially with real people
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and deadliness
  • The ability to adapt your tone for different audiences and channels
  • A scrappy, can-do attitude. You’re not above any task and are always ready to pitch in.
  • Strong collaboration skills. You know how to work with a team and give and receive feedback.
  • A genuine passion for storytelling and helping others.

The total annual salary for this full-time position is $95,000 -$130,000 + equity + benefits.  As this is a remote position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
