ABOUT THE POSITION 

We are seeking an innovative Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for building AI assistants and automation tools for our Game ML team. In this role, you will focus on developing and enhancing AI-driven products that assist game developers by leveraging state-of-the-art machine learning techniques and technologies, including Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Small Language Models (SLMs).

• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models with a focus on large language models (LLMs), small language models (SLMs), agentic AI agents, and multi-modal models for various tasks and applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, software engineers, and product teams to define problems, develop solutions, build proofs of concept, conduct experiments, and deploy solutions using modern tools and best practices.
• Integrate AI-based solutions into various tech stacks and game engines, such as Maya, Blender, Houdini, Unreal Engine, and Unity.
• Develop and maintain our in-house Machine-Learning-as-a-Service (MLaaS) platform.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI/ML, particularly in LLMs, Agentic AI, and Natural Language Processing (NLP).

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Statistical Machine Learning and Deep Learning, with a focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP), Language Models, and Reinforcement Learning.
• 2+ years of game development experience, working independently or with indie, AA, or AAA studios.
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and data processing tools (e.g., PySpark, BigQuery).
• Experience with game development tools for Digital Content Creation (DCC) and game engines, including Blender, Houdini, Maya, Unreal Engine, and Unity.
• Experience deploying ML models via REST APIs.
• Experience with NLP techniques, such as sentiment analysis, topic clustering, and question-answering for dataset validation.
• Experience with Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and Data Visualization
• Experience with Docker and Virtual Machines on Windows and Linux platforms.
• Experience with LLM frameworks, including LangChain, LangGraph, and DeepEval.
• Familiarity with Docker and Virtual Machines on Windows and Linux platforms
• Familiarity with common databases such as Postgres and MongoDB
• Familiarity with Cloud Services such as AWS, GCP or Azure and their Machine Learning and Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) for both managed and unmanaged services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in building game development tools, plugins or modding games
• Strong expertise in prompt engineering and chain-of-thought with the ability to measure and validate the effectiveness of different prompting techniques using scientific and data-driven methods.
• Experience optimizing test-time/inference-time compute to enhance LLM/SLM outputs.
• Knowledge of prompt security techniques, including rail guards, prompt injection defense, and red teaming.
• Familiarity with recent advancements in Generative AI, including image generation, 3D asset generation, animation, sound & music generation, and voice cloning.
