VGW seeks a Senior Manager of Key Account Retention to lead and develop Lucky Land Slots' retention-based Account Management teams in Toronto. Responsibilities include developing and executing strategies to maximize ROI on retention activities while promoting safe play from high-value customers. The role involves building a team, establishing KPIs, monitoring customer retention, testing churn-reduction initiatives, optimizing team performance, and implementing a performance management framework. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of people management experience, ideally leading large, dispersed teams, along with VIP hosting or account management experience in a demanding customer-centric environment. Experience with online/offline events and hospitality is a plus.

Our Account Management team in Toronto is currently looking for a Senior Manager of Key Account Retention to join the team. 

As a Senior Manager of Key Account Retention, you'll be responsible for managing Lucky Land Slots retention-based Account Management teams. To develop and execute a strategy to ensure ROI on reinvestment and retention activities is maximised whilst promoting safe and sustainable play from our high value customers. Lead a culture that promotes creating WOW experiences for all high-value customers, surpassing their high expectations. Ensuring customers remain loyal and become advocates of Lucky Land Slots.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop a strategy and build a team to address persona-specific management opportunities amongst customers
  • Develop a set of KPIs in conjunction with Growth Insights to monitor and report monthly on performance of account management functions, alerting in instances of suboptimal performance 
  • Monitor high value customer retention and test at least one new initiative to reduce churn each quarter, ideally once per month.
  • Work in conjunction with the Customer Operations Manager to optimise performance of the Account Management Team.
  • Develop and implement a performance management framework to ensure the team is performing as expected and accountable.

What you will bring to the role:

  • At least 5 years of direct people management & leadership experience, ideally managing a large scale, dispersed team.
  • Demonstrated experience managing other people managers.
  • Several years experience within a VIP Hosting or account management team, or in a consumer-facing organisation that demands the very best customer experience for the most demanding clients.
  • Experience in online and offline events and hospitality is highly regarded.
  • Roles may require flexible hours along with weekends.
