Senior Software Engineer

Description

Duties: Design and develop production-ready services using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and SQL/No-Sql DB in a micro-services based architecture. Participate in design and architecture sessions, story grooming and acceptance criteria identification and documentation as part of the Scrum team.

Participate in software release and deployment activities managed under an agile software development approach. Collaborate with Scrum team’s Quality Assurance members to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Collaborate with engineering leadership and Business Analysts team members.

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields plus 7 years of experience in Software engineering or related occupations. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields plus 5 years of experience in Software engineering or related occupations. Position requires 5 years of experience in Application and product development using Java and Micro-services. 3 years of experience in Solid experience with Restful APIs, Spring, Spring Boot, SQL, GIT. 3 years of experience in writing unit and integration tests. 2 years of experience in Proven ability to deliver in an Agile, fast-paced, scrum team environment. 2 years of experience in one or more of the following: Python, Hazelcast, Redis, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes. Telecommuting Permitted.
