Description:

We are looking for a Senior Support Executive (PA) to join our Mercer Marsh Benefits (MMB) Business. You will be an essential part of a highly skilled team by collaborating with our client facing colleagues, providing administrative support to senior consultants.

The Senior Support Executive will be supporting a number of senior consultants within the MMB Business across various locations in the UK.

The role would suit an experienced PA or Executive Assistant looking to further their career within a large Corporate business.

Based in either our Bristol, Glasgow, Birmingham or London offices this is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Proactively manage diaries and organisation for senior colleagues whom you support.
  • Understand the business/function operational plans and use this knowledge to provide optimal support.
  • Deal with sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.
  • Prioritise work effectively; demonstrating good judgement and business awareness to be able to say “yes” or “no” to requests in order to effectively manage time, workflow and expectations.
  • Project manage external client or internal stakeholder meetings and events.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to colleagues within your remit as required, such as minute taking, presentation materials and colleague communications.
  • Support the business with financial management activities as required - processing supplier invoices, project management support for complex billing cases, expense processing and other ad hoc requests.
  • Manage end to end complex international and UK travel

What you need to have: 

  • Previous experience in a corporate environment as a PA, Executive Assistant or Support Executive
  •  Comprehensive Microsoft Office proficiency. You will mainly use Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills. You will collaborate with colleagues who are remote so the ability to communicate effectively is key.
  • Exceptional time management skills. Although this role is highly collaborative, your work is also self-directed so you will need to effectively manage your time.
  • Proven ability to multi-task to meet deadlines.
  • Natural attention to detail is critical to ensure we’re providing accurate information to stakeholders
  • Aptitude for problem solving, with the ability to apply logic and experience to assist with the development of solutions for clients
