Summary

As a Software Engineering Intern at EA SPORTS™ FC Mobile in Kuala Lumpur, you'll contribute to the development and maintenance of front-end components and features for the world's most popular mobile football game. You'll work within a full team, collaborating with designers, engineers, testers, and product owners to design and implement robust, well-tested, and documented code. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining front-end components, collaborating on functionality design, writing unit-tested and well-documented code, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and promptly communicating project progress and risks to superiors. The role requires experience in web development, particularly with ReactJS, and strong English and Chinese language skills.

Location & work model : Onsite in Kuala Lumpur

As a software engineering intern FC Mobile, you are expected to have experience in the web development industry. On a day-to-day basis, you will be working within a full team that consist of designers, engineers, testers, product owner, and development director to develop frontend components and features within the web ecosystem. As a Software Engineer, you will report to the Lead Engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, and maintain front-end components and effects.

  • Collaborate with project managers, designers and other developers to design functionality and develop robust and quality code in alignment to the business and user requirements.

  • Write code that is unit tested and well documented.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues that occur.

  • Communicate with superiors promptly about the progress and risks of the project.

Qualifications

  • Studying Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree.

  • Passionate about making and playing games.

  • Ability to think critically and tackle problems head-on.

  • Have experience using ReactJS.

  • Excellent in English and Chinese.
