Job Description
The Software Prototype Engineer will develop AI application prototypes for futuristic applications using AR smart glasses, MR headsets, smartwatches, and other AI wearables. Responsibilities include building various smart AI device experiences from the ground up, collaborating with engineers to develop functions and verify feasibility, iterating on user experience, developing MVPs and demos, and providing technical guidance. The role requires working closely with product, UX, hardware, and OS teams to create impressive user experience demos and integrate key features into future products.

- 3+ years of software development and machine learning experience

Responsibilities - Develop AI application prototypes for futuristic applications with AR smart glasses, MR headsets, smart watches and more AI wearables. Engage early on innovative product concepts and user experience in the product incubation team. - Build a variety smart AI device experience from scratch. Working with other engineers to develop functions and verify feasibility. Iterate and improve user experience. Develop MVP(Minimum Viable Product) and demo for executives. Typical functions include but are not limited to live AI, live translation, AI assistant experience, AI health care, AI tour guide, et al. - Work closely with product teams, UX teams, hardware teams and OS teams to deliver creative and impressive user experience demos and book key features into future hardware and software products. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers. Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science. - 3+ years experience in software development and machine learning techniques, strong skills in object-oriented programming language. Hands on machine learning skills to publicly released products. - Deep knowledge of model architecture, training, inference, evaluation, synthesis data, and model tuning; Proficiency in development with multimodal data such as vision, audio, eye tracking, IMU. - Experience in edge side model improvements is a plus. - Self-motivated to learn new skills on a daily basis in a startup-style product incubation team.
