Job Description

The Senior Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams to deliver results on various product and software operational programs. They will manage communication, facilitate discussions, ensure timely program deliverables, develop program plans, and produce documentation. The role involves strategic thinking to solve root problems, gathering stakeholder feedback, and acting as a change agent to advance FICO's platform agenda. This role is responsible for building strong program teams and leading them to success. This role reports directly to the Business Operations Vice President.

  • Experience leading complex programs for SaaS products.
  • Understanding of Agile development lifecycle and cloud operations.
  • Highly collaborative; works seamlessly with cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional facilitation, moderation and organization skills.
  • Effective time management to meet deadlines and juggle tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Packages.
  • An ability to balance detail-orientation and big picture thinking.
  • Bachelor’s degree in highly related field.

The Opportunity
 

“We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to join our Operations Team to help us solve problems! We are looking for someone who loves to organize and deliver results with a focus on building and continually improving processes across a variety of teams. This role is a change agent role in helping teams to identify problems, come up with a variety of solutions to a problem, and then determine which one is the best one to execute and why. This leadership role includes people management and reports directly to the Business Operations Vice President. It emphasizes leading and building teams cross functionally to build really cool software and produce results!” – Business Operations-Vice President

What You’ll Contribute

  • Collaborate with and lead cross functional teams to deliver results on various product and software operational programs.
  • Manage communication with various program teams and executive leadership to ensure alignment.
  • Facilitate and moderate tough discussions to keep programs on track and raise issues when needed.
  • Ensure program deliverables are completed on time and on budget.
  • Schedule and moderate program review meetings as needed.
  • Develop and manage Program Plans to ensure successful execution through to completion.
  • Produce and catalog all program documentation including program charters and weekly reporting.
  • Develop reports/dashboards and regularly update stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent communication.
  • Think strategically about how to solve root problems in a scalable and repeatable way to help improve FICO’s product operations globally.
  • Gather feedback from key stakeholders and provide recommendations on the best way to advance program goals.
  • Act as an agent for change within the organization to build strong program teams and advance FICO’s platform first agenda.

What We’re Seeking

  • Process oriented with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong background in leading and completing complex programs for Software-As-a-Service products and cloud-based services.
  • Understanding of Agile development lifecycle and cloud delivery operations.
  • Highly collaborative; works seamlessly with cross-functional teams to solve problems and deliver complex projects on time.
  • Exceptional facilitation, moderation and organization skills.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Packages, advanced level preferred for Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • An ability to balance detail-orientation as well as big picture thinking and strategy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in highly related field; Advanced degree a plus.
