Staff Engineer, IOT

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience 7+ years
• Strong experience in developing and implementation of IoT solutions.
• Proficiency in systematic architecture and design patterns, elicitation of non-functional requirements.
• Hands on experience in develop and deploy software solutions on AWS Greengrass-enabled edge devices using Python.
• Strong experience in database NOSQL.
• Integrate edge devices with industrial servers like Kepware and MTLINKi, ensuring seamless data flow between devices, local servers, and cloud services
• In-depth understanding of IoT protocols.
• Ability to integrate IoT systems with existing enterprise systems and platforms.
• Ability to end-to-end IoT solutions, including hardware, firmware, and software components
• Proven track record of leading IoT projects from conception through to implementation, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of performance optimization techniques is critical for ensuring efficient gameplay.
• Ability to explore and grasp new technologies
• Mentoring your team members in projects and helping them keep up with new technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Writing and reviewing great quality code 
• Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in
• the context of the project 
• Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, 
• and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it. 
• Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets 
• Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and 
• activities. 
• Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs. 
• Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it. 
• Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement 
• Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations. 
• Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs 
• Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken. 
• Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements. 

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
