Job Description

This Systems Architect position involves working within a small, agile team to develop systems, tools, processes, and databases to support the internal Quote to Cash process. Responsibilities include collaborating with the development team to influence product direction, providing architectural direction across business systems, functioning as a subject matter expert, designing, developing, testing, and deploying technical solutions, and maintaining the Operational Data Warehouse. The role also includes supporting internal employees' use of the Business Systems. Candidates should have experience in software development and database design.

Job Description

This position will work in a small, agile team developing systems, tools, processes, and databases to support our internal Quote to Cash process.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively participate in a collaborative development team with the opportunity to influence product direction

  • Provide solutions and architectural direction across all of our internal Business Systems, paying close attention to:

    • Choosing which system(s) are the appropriate choice for solving each problem

    • Preventing conflicts with existing business logic

    • Duplicating existing solutions

  • Function as a subject matter expert across all our Envysion’s Business Systems and help prevent unwelcome side effects of changes

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy technical solutions in a wide variety of frameworks

  • Function as the owner of our Operational Data Warehouse, protecting and enhancing its architecture and use

  • Maintain and enhance a set of scheduled jobs that perform data loading and transformation (mostly JavaScript)

  • Support our internal employees’ use of the Business Systems as needed, providing help, guidance, and feeding ideas into the backlog (ease of use, bug fixes, automation)

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline

  • 6+ years of experience developing commercial software applications

  • 6+ years of development experience working with JavaScript, NodeJS, and PHP

  • 6+ years of experience designing and developing databases and database applications

  • 3+ years Salesforce development/configuration experience

  • 3+ years working in a cloud-hosted environment like AWS or Azure

  • 3+ years of experience working with Linux

  • Agility and comfort with changing requirements and frequent internal customer feedback

  • Champion of Agile principles, software best practices, and maintainable solutions

Join our Retail team as a Customer Success Manager and trusted advisor, partnering with CStore, Entertainment, Restaurant, and Retail clients to ensure their success with Envysion. You'll drive product adoption, expand our footprint within accounts, and champion best practices to position Envysion as a key driver of client growth. This involves proactive engagement, strategic guidance, and tailored recommendations to help clients achieve their business objectives.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining regular communication with key account contacts, providing actionable strategies to improve platform utilization, user adoption, data analysis, and ROI.

  • Championing user proficiency by delivering initial training and ongoing learning experiences.

  • Demonstrating your proven track record of developing and implementing successful upsell strategies that drive customer adoption and contribute to overall revenue growth. This includes identifying upsell opportunities, crafting compelling value propositions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute effective upsell campaigns.

  • Acting as a voice of the customer by providing regular feedback to product, support, and management teams on product performance, customer satisfaction, and market trends.

  • Addressing and resolving issues through appropriate channels, including escalation.

  • Fostering excellence in customer success by effectively communicating performance metrics and progress towards goals, ensuring shared understanding and accountability across the organization.  ​

Qualifications of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:

  • Associate's or Bachelor Degree preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and nurture customer relationships that translate into long-term partnerships and revenue growth, supported by 5+ years of experience in customer success or sales roles.

  • Proven success managing a book of business exceeding $200,000 of monthly recurring revenue.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage the full customer lifecycle for both hardware and SaaS offerings, from onboarding to renewal and expansion.

  • Strong CRM skills, with demonstrable experience working in Salesforce, as well as proficiency working in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

  • Proven ability to lead, think creatively, organize effectively, and make sound decisions.

  • Strong executive presence and engaging presentation skills, together with a working understanding of accounting principles and data-driven decision making.

  • Ability to drive results efficiently with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to travel up to 10%.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Target Base Salary Range: $98,100 - $196,200 USD
