Job Description

This role is an Account Executive position within Google Customer Solutions (GCS) focused on the Finnish market. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of medium and large-sized businesses. Responsibilities include delivering against ambitious quarterly growth goals, understanding client growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans. The role requires proactive pitching and consultation, delivering outstanding customer sales experiences, achieving customer business and marketing objectives, and building strong relationships with executives. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and digital marketing expertise, excellent communication skills (fluent in English and Finnish), and a proven track record of success in exceeding quotas.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of experience in advertising sales
  • Fluency in English and Finnish
  • Proven ability to exceed sales quotas
  • Consultative sales and digital marketing expertise
  • Strong client relationship management skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with performance marketing
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics
  • Thought leadership in digital marketing
  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Finnish fluently to support client relationships in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and engaged selling.
  • Experience thought leadership and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.
  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Finland and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Establish credibility with executives and serve as a trusted partner to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
