Job Description

This Account Manager role at Google focuses on building and managing relationships with large clients. Responsibilities include understanding client business issues, marketing objectives, and success metrics; working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project completion; achieving business growth goals through presenting Google advertising products; developing data-driven analyses and recommendations; and building in-depth knowledge of Google Advertising products. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, or marketing, and fluency in German and English is required. The role involves planning and achieving business growth goals by presenting Google advertising products/solutions to meet client marketing objectives. Client relationship management and proactive collaboration are key aspects of this position.
Must have:

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in German and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a business related field.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • 1 year of experience managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and relationships with customers or agencies.

We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of the business issues, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Work proactively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time to a high standard.
  • Plan for, and achieve, business growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet the marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
