Job Description

The Account Manager, Large Customer Sales, UKI role at Google focuses on driving growth for large, complex businesses. Responsibilities include achieving ambitious quarterly business goals, owning a portfolio of clients, understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans. The role requires pitching and consulting with clients, delivering outstanding customer sales experiences, achieving customer business and marketing objectives, and managing stakeholders. This position involves working with Google's broad range of products across search, video, and mobile to help clients connect with their audiences effectively. A successful candidate will possess strong relationship-building and analytical abilities and be proficient in strategic assessment, objection handling and competitive selling.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/media sales
  • Achieve sales quotas and drive growth
  • Consultative selling and objection handling
  • Strategic client success assessment
Good to have:
  • Experience using storytelling in client engagement
  • Ability to build compelling narratives

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative business, online media environment, business development, or marketing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via business techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and competitive selling.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilise storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context and consistently overachieve sales quotas to drive growth.

We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of large complex businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identify opportunities for growth, manage risks and build multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Manage stakeholders, and build relationships with the end customer or agencies.
