Job Description

As an Account Strategist at Google Customer Solutions, you'll build and manage client relationships, understanding their business challenges and marketing objectives. You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project completion and achieve growth goals by presenting Google advertising solutions. This role requires developing data-driven analyses and recommendations aligned with customer goals, showcasing high-impact opportunities. A deep understanding of Google advertising products and their application across various marketing objectives is crucial. Responsibilities include proactive client communication, strategic planning, and the presentation of compelling solutions to meet client needs. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, and a proven track record in advertising or sales.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising, sales, marketing, or media
  • Experience with Google Ads and digital marketing
  • Client relationship management
  • Strategic planning and goal achievement
Good to have:
  • Experience with channel sales and agencies
  • Expertise in paid digital advertising campaigns
  • Ability to build compelling narratives
  • Data-driven analysis and consultative skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling.
  • Experience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, or clients.
  • Expertise in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, particularly in Google Ads and other digital marketing platforms.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and demonstrated ability to achieve goals to drive growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of their business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Work proactively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time to a high standard.
  • Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build an in-depth knowledge of how Google advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
