Job Description

This Analytical Lead role at Google focuses on driving business outcomes for clients through advanced analytics, experimentation, and measurement. Responsibilities include leading business insights, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), leveraging measurement methods (including third-party video tools and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)), conducting A/B testing, sharing learnings across teams, and defining cross-media measurement standards. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, experience with various advertising platforms (YouTube, Google Search), and excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders. The role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with advertisers, agencies, and clients, and knowledge of traditional as well as digital marketing tactics and strategy.
  • Experience finding compelling insights and building narratives.
  • Knowledge of YouTube, Google Search, inclusive of product capabilities and systems.
  • Understanding of the video advertising space, with experience in video attribution tools and MMMs.
  • Excellent project management skills across multiple stakeholders.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$169,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead business insights, analytics, experimentation and advanced measurement to partner with customers to drive business outcomes by Consideration and Brand investment.
  • Define and refine values for measuring outcomes that matter, with a focus on competitive budgets from linear investment.
  • Leverage measurement methods and analysis to produce business focused insights and help customers understand the value of media. This includes having knowledge of third party Video Measurement tools and an understanding of Marketing mix modeling (MMM).
  • Test via experimentation and learning agendas, share learnings across sectors, and implement practices with cross-functional partners.
  • Define a cross-media measurement standard that supports an accurate measurement of performance for a customer's business.
