Job Description

Sinch seeks an Atlassian Support Engineer to provide essential Jira and Confluence support to global employees. Responsibilities include handling incident and request support, escalating complex issues, documenting solutions, and creating user guides. The ideal candidate possesses 1-2 years of Jira and Confluence administration experience (Data Center and Cloud), strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication. Experience with Jira automations, Azure, and Microsoft Active Directory is a plus. The role involves creating and managing Confluence documentation, troubleshooting, and collaborating with internal teams. A hybrid work setup is available in Bangalore.
Must have:
  • 1-2 years Jira & Confluence admin experience (Data Center & Cloud)

  • Confluence documentation creation & management
  • Excellent communication & collaboration skills
Good to have:
  • Jira automation experience

The essence of the role:
We are looking for an Atlassian Support Engineer to join our growing team to provide essential support for Jira and Confluence to our global Sinch employees. In this role, you will handle incident and request related support issues, while also serving as an escalation point for more complex cases. You will document solutions and create guides to streamline workflows for both the Atlassian team and end users.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1-2 years of experience in Jira and Confluence administration (Data Center and Cloud) and a basic understanding of Microsoft 365 Administration and MS Exchange. Knowledge of Jira automations, Azure, Microsoft Active Directory and Assets (formerly Insight) is a plus.

To contribute to this role, you have:

  • 1-2 Yrs. experience.
  • Experience in Jira and Confluence administration (Data Center and Cloud), with hands-on knowledge in configuration, user management and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in providing first-line support for Jira and Confluence, handling basic to mid-level technical issues and escalating complex cases when needed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues, identify root causes and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Experience in creating and managing documentation in Confluence, including creating user guides, troubleshooting steps and knowledge base articles.
  • Familiarity with Jira automations and workflows, with the ability to configure and troubleshoot automation rules within Jira and Confluence.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 Administration, to assist with integration between Atlassian tools and Microsoft services.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based services such as Azure and integrations with Atlassian tools to support the seamless operation of Jira and Confluence.
  • Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
  • Capable to work in a fast-paced environment, with ability to prioritize what’s most important
