Job Description

This Business Development Consultant role focuses on new business sales for Google advertising solutions. Responsibilities include prospecting, managing, and forecasting new business opportunities; consulting with C-level customers to achieve online marketing goals; identifying customer needs and designing compelling marketing solutions; working with internal stakeholders; and conducting market research and analysis to develop effective strategies. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills, along with experience in business development and a deep understanding of digital marketing. Fluency in English is mandatory, while fluency in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada is preferred. The role involves optimizing business partnerships, building customer pipelines, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Must have:

Good to have:
  • Master's in Business Administration

  • Business, consulting, media, or advertising experience
  • India market knowledge, digital/traditional media analysis
  • Fluency in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in business or business development.
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently in order to communicate in this customer-facing business role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in planning, delivering and executing marketing campaigns, measurement, creative strategy, relationships and stakeholder management.
  • Experience with working in business, consulting, media, or advertising.
  • Knowledge of India market and insights into both digital and traditional media with the ability to analyze spreadsheets and create or deliver presentations.
  • Ability to communicate in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
  • Excellent communication and collaborating skills, with the ability to present advertising solutions to multiple audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, manage and forecast new business pipeline and opportunities.
  • Consult with C-level customers to achieve online marketing and business goals.
  • Identify the customer's needs and tests. Design compelling marketing solutions and develop solutions using product knowledge to optimize success for our customers and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders and represent the customer internally.
  • Conduct research and analysis, to develop strategies which capitalize on market potential and opportunities.
