Job Description

As City Head - Senior Manager at Paytm, you will be responsible for growing distribution and market share in your assigned area. This involves extensive QR and soundbox deployment and sales, recruiting and managing a sales team (5-10 Area Sales Managers and approximately 700-1000 people down the line), coaching and mentoring your team, and planning market strategies. You'll monitor quality parameters, conduct audits, ensure team members are actively engaged in sales and usage, and build strong networks. Extensive travel within your area is required. The ideal candidate possesses 8-12 years of experience in sales and distribution, preferably from Direct Sales, B2C, Telecom, FMCG, Fintech, or Device sales. An MBA from a Tier 1 college is preferred.

City Head - Sales

Preferred Domains : Candidates from Direct Sales, B2C, Telecom, FMGC, Fintech or Device sales domain will be preferred.
Experience Required : 8-12 years of relevant experience in sales and distribution/ business development. Should have handled team in the past.
Min Qualification –MBA - Preferred Tier 1 College  
Reporting Matrix : The role will report to the Regional Manager  and will have 5-10 on roll Area Sales Manager as direct reports also down the line approx 700 -1000 people reporting as per hierarchy 

Job Description :
 Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product .
Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.
Plan the market size, span and geographies for ASM .
Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.
Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done regularly
Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
