Computer Network and Systems Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Computer Network and Systems Engineer to lead the deployment, maintenance, and optimisation of critical infrastructure across our technical services division. • Design, implement and support IT and AV infrastructure across post-production, broadcast, and creative environments.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows, macOS, and Linux workstations and servers.
• Provide expert-level support for advanced network configurations, including switching, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Manage user authentication systems, software licensing, and domain structures.
• Lead and support the integration and maintenance of Avid systems, including Media Composer, Nexis, and Pro Tools across multi-site environments.
• Support studio and production network builds and respond to time-critical support escalations.
• Oversee technical documentation, system backup, security, and recovery protocols.
• Work closely with internal teams and high-profile clients to deliver robust, reliable, and future-proof solutions.

• 3–5+ years’ experience in a network/systems engineering or IT support role, ideally in a production or post-production environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Avid systems, networked storage, and creative media pipelines.
• Strong skills in enterprise networking and security practices.
• Confidence working across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.
• Solid understanding of hardware deployment, imaging, and configuration management.
• Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and a calm, solution-focused approach.
• A current driver’s licence and the ability to travel to client sites if required.
