Job Description

This internship offers a 6-month full-time opportunity within the Project Control Team at the Gigafactory Grünheide. The intern will support the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) group, focusing on design, planning, and execution of company infrastructure. Responsibilities include developing an understanding of EPC processes, learning Primavera P6 for schedule creation and tracking, proposing reporting improvements, leading scheduling for low-complexity projects, supporting senior planners on complex projects, identifying risks and opportunities, and presenting findings. The ideal candidate possesses a background in Construction Engineering and fluency in English.

Must have:

BS/MS in Construction Engineering or related field
Fluent English
Primavera P6 knowledge
Construction background
Presentation skills
Teamwork & communication skills

The internship assignment

The Project Control Team’s primary objective is to support the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) group in the design, planning, and execution of company infrastructure by providing management with critical, decision-making information that ensures projects deliver on time and on budget.

What You’ll Do

Develop a good understanding of the EPC Team internal structure and processes.
Acquire a reasonable knowledge of Primavera P6 that would allow the candidate to create, track and report on low complexity schedules.
Medium level of autonomy that would require minimal involvement from the senior planners.
Propose improvements to the existing reporting techniques and potential automatizations.

What You’ll Bring

Working toward a BS , MS or advanced degree in Construction Engineering or related field
Fluent English skills
Work and collaborate confidently with all stakeholders involved in the assigned scopes. Lead the scheduling tasks for low complexity projects/scopes.
Support the senior planners on high complexity projects.
Add value by bringing visibility over the main risks and opportunities of the assigned scopes.
Architecture/Design/Construction background.
Presentation skills required in meetings and workshops.
Ability to multi-task.
Can work independently.
Good interpersonal teamwork, communication, and negotiation skills
