Job Description

As a Content Analyst, you will be part of a growing team in Kuala Lumpur ensuring the consistency, quality, and timely delivery of data. Responsibilities include handling Officers & Directors (O&D) processes, collecting and maintaining information on C-level executives and board members with a focus on the China and Taiwan markets. You will process data accurately using technical and financial knowledge, ensuring data quality and resolving client queries. Supporting new projects to create and maintain content, working independently or within teams, and liaising with various stakeholders are also key. Additionally, you will research sources, support process improvements, use language skills to establish relationships, and document policies. The role requires adherence to data policies and the ability to backup other analysts.
Must have:
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.
  • Professional proficiency in Mandarin for daily data collection.
  • Microsoft Office Skills – Outlook, Word, Excel.
Good to have:
  • Understanding of Financial Markets and Statements is desirable.

Opportunity

We invite applications from qualifying candidates to be part of our growing team in Kuala Lumpur. Analysts will play a key role in ensuring the consistency, quality and timely delivery of data that powers our products. The Analysts will be part of a dynamic team working with colleagues across multiple locations and experience a truly multi-national culture.

Responsibilities

  • This role is required to handle Officers & Directors (O&D) process

  • Collect and maintain information regarding C-level executives and board members with focus on China and Taiwan market

  • Process data and apply in an accurate manner to the database using technical and financial knowledge

  • Take ownership for data quality, accuracy, timeliness and completeness

  • Ensure timely and complete resolution of queries from internal and external clients

  • Support new projects to create and maintain content

  • Work optimally within teams or by yourself, be proactive to identify and resolve problems

  • Liaise with Data Operations, Customers and third party suppliers

  • Research new and review existing sources to ensure that quality, timeliness and automation

  • Support continuous improvement of the process by sharing observations and feedback on the process

  • Use language skills to establish relationships with overseas market contacts

  • Document policies, procedures and work processes

  • Adhere to current data policies and procedures

  • Backup other analysts in the team during their absence

Required Skills (Must Have)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English

  • Professional level proficient in Mandarin as the role required data collection in this language on daily basis

  • Microsoft Office Skills – Outlook, Word, Excel

  • Understanding of Financial Markets and Statements is desirable

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree
