The Role

Product Discovery & Promotion (PDP) sits at the heart of the Choosing experience for every Netflix member. From Metadata & Tagging, Creative Strategy & Craft, through to Production, Globalization and Launch, this team touches every title that our members see on the Netflix platform. PDP Operations drives excellence in every launch such that we can work smarter, increase efficiency and, most importantly, increase joy for our members on the Netflix platform.

As an integral part of the PDP EMEA Regional Operations team, the Creative Operations Lead will shepherd the creative production of Branded and high profile Non-Branded (NB) promotional assets in EMEA. They will have the opportunity to innovate and build the reputation of the Operations function; maximize creative solutions and drive the efficiency and impact of the team and the campaigns we create. They will work closely with the Regional Operations team; Creative & Copy Strategists; Editors; Designers and Producers to ensure we have the right creative plan to launch each title. They will also work with the wider PDP Operations team to ensure we design and deploy the right production solutions and scalable creative workflows. They will oversee project intake, title routing, and creative resourcing (internal, freelance, contractor or vendor).

As a senior Individual Contributor in the team, the role will work closely with the Regional Operations Manager in the regional title prioritization processes and support the title-level operational effectiveness of the team (from resource forecasting to final delivery), ensuring workflow milestones are met and that efficiencies and cost-savings are achieved.

This role is open internally and is based in Amsterdam. The role will report to the PDP Regional Operations Manager (EMEA).

In this role, you will:

  • Establish: Deploy and reinforce adherence to creative operations workflows and  adapt regional learnings in the pursuit of global operational excellence.

  • Balance: Manage the routing pipeline and strategy for projects between internal and external creative teams and vendors.

  • Optimize: Ensure our pool of creative resources are effectively deployed and work with our scaled operations partners to uncover and maximize opportunities for efficiency.

  • Collaborate: Work with cross-functional partners to ensure our vendor ecosystem can meet our evolving title-level needs. Serve as a strong bridge to our wider Operations community and support the success of local-to-global and global-to-local initiatives.

  • Maintain: Champion operational best practices across our creative workflows, and own the training and associated materials for teams (internal and external).

  • Track and analyze: Monitor team capacity, target adherence, production spend and trends in workflow adherence.

  • Innovate: Act as a critical thought partner in the development of new scalable production workflows and creative technology that deliver creative excellence at our core.

The ideal candidate:

  • 10+ years of production, operational and trafficking experience within Creative organizations or internal Creative teams.

  • Fluent in English; knowledge of other EMEA languages a plus.

  • Exemplary organizational skills, a disciplined work ethic and strong workflow management experience.

  • Experience deploying project management solutions for a diverse set of deliverables.

  • Passion for the creative development process.

  • Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships (technical and creative).

  • Effective at giving honest and direct feedback.

  • Passionate about all aspects of the business and how they connect.

  • An entrepreneurial self-starter that thrives in fast-paced and demanding environments.

  • A high level of intellectual curiosity and strong judgment in the face of ambiguity.

  • Well versed in using metrics and testing to inform creative solutions.

  • Understand, advocate, and embody the and team goals.
