Summary

The CRM Executive will support the CRM Manager in developing and implementing impactful email campaigns for Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, and Disneyland Paris. Responsibilities include planning and managing email communications calendars, project managing campaigns through JIRA, developing email content (copywriting and image selection), collaborating with various teams (Brand Strategy, Legal), producing data selection briefs, conducting email testing, and generating post-campaign reports. The role also entails leading the day-to-day running of email campaigns, maintaining relationships with the CRM agency, supervising costs and timings, and acting as the main point of contact for the Disneyland Paris CRM team.

Job Summary:

About the Role & Team

This role will require you to be onsite at our Hammersmith offices 4 days a week

You will support the CRM Manager in developing, planning and implementing impactful and engaging tactical email campaigns to meet the short-term and long-term needs of the business for Walt Disney World , Disney Cruise Line and Disneyland Paris.

To achieve the attendance, room nights and revenue goals for Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Paris, and booking, revenue and per Diem goals for Disney Cruise Line through email marketing to our database of prospects and previous Guests.

What you will do:

Own the day-to-day activities for the tactical email programmes for our three travel brands to ensure CRM campaigns are delivered efficiently in a timely manner

Activities include but are not limited to:

  • Planning and management of the email communications calendar in line with strategic objectives

  • Project management of email campaigns through JIRA, including close liaison with our CRM agency and wider team members

  • Development of email content including copywriting and image sourcing/selection

  • Collaborator management to gain buy-in and approval from Brand Strategy, Legal, etc. as appropriate

  • Production of data selection briefs to request relevant audiences for our campaigns from the data team

  • Email testing and sign-off with agency and internal partners to make sure campaign deployments are successful and to outlined exacting standards

  • Post-campaign review and reporting so findings and key insights/actions can be nurtured into the

Annual Operating Plan:

  • Lead the day-to-day running of all email campaigns on the broadcast calendar and the team leader to plan-out the calendar for the following financial year

  • Ensure an effective relationship is maintained with the CRM agency by sharing DDI calendar and campaign key activation dates, working closely with day-to-day agency contacts and attending weekly status calls

  • Engage with internal partners and external agencies to supervise costs, timings and critical metrics for each campaign

  • Be the main point of contact for the Disneyland Paris CRM team to validate and approve campaign copy/content for the UK and Ireland markets

Skills & Qualifications Required

  • Email marketing and CRM experience preferably in a multi-national marketing environment

  • Shown success implementing and delivering email/CRM campaigns

  • Consistent track record to influence throughout relevant levels of a matrix organisation

  • Experience in consumer marketing within the travel, hospitality and/or entertainment industry, desirable, working on compelling emails that support business goals and marketing plans

  • Solid understanding of digital project management platforms, e.g.: JIRA, Smartsheet

  • Experience of HTML & eBroadcast platforms/email content systems, e.g. Salesforce/content builder

  • Ability to plan and develop segmented/tailored email marketing campaigns

  • Ability to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously and work both independently and as part of a team
