Job Description

The Customer Support Cadet role at Tesla is a 12-month fixed-term contract providing entry-level customer service experience. As a first point of contact, cadets deliver exceptional support via phone, web, and chat, troubleshooting customer concerns, and performing remote diagnostics. They educate Tesla owners on self-service options, accurately log issues in the CRM, and collaborate with internal teams. The role offers exposure to Sales, Service, and Delivery teams, providing a well-rounded understanding of Tesla's operations. Success requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the passion to deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

As part of our Customer Support Team, you will be on the frontlines, embodying Tesla’s mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. Our Cadet Support Specialists are more than just problem-solvers – they are Tesla brand ambassadors, building relationships and providing an exceptional experience for our rapidly growing customer base.

You will be based at our brand-new Sydney HQ in Alexandria, a stone’s throw from Mascot station, where you will be equipped to support the owners of some of the most innovative vehicles ever made. You’ll be joining a passionate, customer-centric, and resilient team that is driving the future of sustainable transportation. In addition, this cadetship will expose you to various areas of the business, including Sales, Service, and Delivery, offering you a unique opportunity to understand and contribute to multiple facets of Tesla’s operations.

What You’ll Do
  • Be the first point of contact, delivering outstanding customer support via phone, web, and chat.
  • Troubleshoot and assess customer concerns, performing remote diagnostics and collaborating with internal teams for effective resolutions.
  • Educate Tesla owners on how to self-serve through our website and self-scheduling systems.
  • Accurately log issues into our CRM/Vehicle Support System to ensure smooth tracking and follow-up.
  • Gain valuable exposure to Sales, Service, and Delivery teams, broadening your experience and understanding of how Tesla operates.
  • Consistently provide an exceptional customer experience that reflects the Tesla brand.
