Desktop Technician

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Desktop Technician for a Major Financial Institution. 

You’ll join their team to provide desktop tech support issues as needed. This is a one year opportunity. The role is located in San Francisco and is fully on-site.

Responsibilities: 

• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
• Supports, monitors, tests, and troubleshoots hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN/WAN connectivity, Operating Systems, and provides end users support for all LAN-based applications.
• Recommends and schedules repairs.

Requirements: 

• 4 - 6 years of professional experience.
• You've installed and configured workstations.
• You've provided Executive level support.
• You've supported, monitored, tested, and troubleshot hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN/WAN connectivity, Operating Systems, and provided end user support for LAN-based applications.

• *To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week and the length of assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
