We are hiring a Director, Global Payroll to lead global payroll and set a strategic vision to help us scale our payroll operations. This is a remote role and people manager, reporting to the VP, Global Payroll. You will:
- Manage global payroll and payroll service providers and help execute our company-wide employee growth plans, providing excellent support to our employee base.
- Partner with Compensation, Benefits, Stock Admin, Finance, Tax, IT, Legal and third-party service providers to ensure seamless, compliant practices.
- Partner with the Stock Admin team to manage stock-based compensation processing in payroll, including stock option exercises, RSUs and ESPP to ensure payroll tax compliance.
- Develop additional payroll procedures, controls, streamlined preparation and operational efficiency, automation, documentation, and disbursement of payroll-related payments.
- Oversee payroll audits. Perform and monitor internal controls related to payroll to comply with SOX and other country-specific legal requirements; recommend improvements to improve processes.
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in payroll operations, with specific experience in a global, publicly-traded company.
- International payroll and expertise in US federal, state, and local payroll taxation.
- Experience in a high volume company supporting a population of 10k+ employees preferably.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification and experience with Ceridian DayForce or ADP payroll platforms and Workday HCM
- Experience onboarding new payroll vendors and transitioning global payroll to different systems
- Experience processing equity transactions globally (RSUs, ESPP or Stock Options is preferable)

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
