Job Responsibilities:

As a Full Stack Web Developer on the Release Tooling Team, you will:

• Design and Develop: Build full-stack web applications and internal tools that simplify and automate our application release workflows.
• Collaborate: Work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to understand their needs and deliver impactful solutions.
• Optimize User Experience: Develop intuitive, user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Create Scalable Backends: Build secure and efficient backend systems and APIs using Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
• Streamline Processes: Automate repetitive tasks and manual workflows to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
• Integrate Systems: Interface with third-party platforms and internal APIs to aggregate and surface actionable data for release processes.
• Monitor and Maintain: Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of tools.
• Write Documentation: Create and maintain documentation, tutorials, and guides for the tools you build.
• Stay Innovative: Identify new technologies and approaches to improve development processes and release efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
  • Proficient in modern web development frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue).
  • Experience building RESTful APIs or GraphQL services.
  • Strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL) and data modeling.
  • Understanding of CI/CD concepts and pipelines.

• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document and share knowledge effectively.

• Bonus Skills:
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools.
