Game Operations Associate (Esports)

1v1Me is a platform that allows you to stake on others playing video games. We are building an esports community fueled by staking and entertainment.1v1Me is a fully-remote team.

This is an opportunity to join a small team in our live referee department.

As a Game Operations Associate - Live Referee, you will be responsible for running all 1v1Me events which include the following responsibilities:

- Validate player identities before the matches begin.

- Confirm equipment and gameplay settings before the matches begin.

- Watch all matches live while live scorekeeping and confirm the validity and integrity of the results.

- Assist with match scheduling.

- Collaborate with team members and escalate complex or unresolved issues to high levels of management as necessary.

- You are an excellent communicator with strong written communication skills, able to convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.

- Problem-solving is second nature to you, and you have a knack for finding creative solutions to customer issues.

- Multitasking is in your DNA, and you can effectively manage multiple chat conversations and customer inquiries simultaneously.

- You exhibit empathy and patience when dealing with upset or frustrated customers, always striving to provide a positive experience.

- You have used Discord before.

- Deep passion for gaming.

- Deep knowledge in NBA 2K, Madden, FIFA, Call of Duty S&D & Warzone.

What makes you stand out:

- Bachelor's degree in related field (statistics, computer science, engineering, analytics, finance, accounting) preferred but not required

Hours

- Each week you will be assigned when you need to work up to 40 hours per week (days, nights or weekends this is a 7 day a week operation)

Pay

- $15-20 per hour
