Job Description

The Graphic Designer at Spin Master collaborates with senior designers and brand management to develop creative strategies for key brands and products. Responsibilities include creating packaging design concepts, working with the production team to ensure design integrity, communicating project progress, and developing marketing materials for presentations and trade shows. The role also involves creating digital marketing assets and collaborating with various teams throughout the package development process. Experience in consumer products, especially toy packaging design, is preferred, along with advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite.

Must have:

Experience in consumer products (toy packaging preferred)
Advanced skills in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat
Packaging design concept creation
Collaboration with cross-functional teams

Job Description:

What will you work on?

The Graphic Designer works closely with the Sr Designer on new brand initiatives and collaborates with Sr. Creative and Brand management to set creative strategy on key brands and individual items.

How will you create impact?

Working under the art direction of the Sr Designer, Staff Designer / or Director of Visual Branding, you will create packaging design concepts that support brand strategy.
Work with production team to ensure integrity of design in final deliverables.
Effectively communicate all project related progress/issues or concerns to the VB Manager and Project Management in a timely and professional manner.
Solicit creative direction from the Sr. Designer, Staff Designer and / or Director of Visual Branding in a timely manner.
Develop marketing support materials, creative boards and layout presentations for new and existing business development presentations and trade shows.
Develop digital marketing assets where required.
Collaborate with Production, Structural Engineering, Marketing, Quality Control and Product Development teams as well as overseas agents, as necessary, in the package development and approval process

What are your skills and experience?

Experience in the consumer products industry; toy package design preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat.
Undergraduate degree in Graphic Design, (BFA) or equivalent; or 4 or more years related experience and / or training.

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in New York City is $75,000 to $100,000 per annum. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc. Spin Master Inc. is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
