Job Description

As an IT Project Manager at EFG, you'll plan, manage, and oversee IT projects from start to finish. Key responsibilities include analyzing business processes, identifying improvement areas, and developing solutions aligning with business goals. You'll collaborate with technical teams, developers, vendors, and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills, leveraging Jira for project management and reporting. Experience with HR business processes and Atlassian tools (Confluence and Jira) is crucial. You will also be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, facilitating communication, developing project documentation, ensuring quality, monitoring progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and solving problems.
Must have:
  • 5-8 years IT Project Management experience
  • HR business process familiarity
  • Agile/Waterfall methodologies knowledge
  • Jira expertise
  • Excellent communication & problem-solving skills
  • System integration project experience
  • Confluence and Jira advanced experience
Good to have:
  • SQL familiarity
  • AI familiarity
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications

As a full-time IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and overseeing IT projects from initiation to completion. Your main challenge will be analyzing and assessing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing solutions that help meet business goals.

This role requires close collaboration with technical teams, developers, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, and with high-quality results. Your organizational, communicational, and analytical skills help our department to be the best service provider for our internal customers.

Your future tasks:

  • Plan and manage the entire IT project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
  • Define project goals, work plans, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate the IT activities and business stakeholders to ensure project progress.
  • Gather and document business requirements by working with stakeholders and conducting detailed interviews.
  • Facilitate communication between business units and technical teams to ensure a common understanding of project goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project documentation, including business cases, process flows, and use cases.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables and compliance with technical requirements.
  • Monitor project progress using the Jira project management tool
  • Communicate project status to the internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Solve problems that may arise during the project lifecycle, intervening promptly to keep the project on schedule.
  • Prepare periodic reports and post-project analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or in a related role for at least 5-8 years.
  • Familiarity with HR  business processes
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Experience with project management tools (Jira)
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Experience in creating detailed reports, process documentation, and presentations
  • Must have:
    • Previous experience in IT projects related to HR processes
    • Familiarity with systems integration projects
    • Advanced experience with Confluence and Jira
    • Relevant certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile
  • Nice to have:
    • familiarity with SQL
    • familiarity with AI
