Playtech seeks a dynamic IT Technical Support Team Lead for its new Brazilian Live Studio in Sao Paulo. Responsibilities include coordinating daily team operations, creating work schedules, managing and motivating the team, conducting performance reviews, planning training, preparing reports, ensuring compliance, developing procedures, collaborating with other Playtech units, resolving production issues, overseeing new product launches, managing services and hardware, staying updated on IT trends, and ensuring timely project completion. The role requires strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and technical skills. The successful candidate will have a degree in IT, 5+ years of hands-on experience, and 3+ years of managerial experience.

Job Description

Your Influential Mission: You Will…

  • Coordinate and supervise the daily operations of the IT team.
  • Create monthly work schedules and maintain daily attendance records.
  • Manage and motivate the team to achieve targets and improve service quality.
  • Organize monthly team meetings and individual performance reviews.
  • Foster a positive and cohesive working environment.
  • Plan and participate in training for new and existing employees.
  • Prepare and submit reports as required by management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal rules and procedures.
  • Develop new procedures and manuals as needed.
  • Collaborate with other Playtech units on new products, bug fixes, and customer connections.
  • Monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues with production-related services and hardware.
  • Oversee the launch of new live products.
  • Manage and configure production-related services and hardware.
  • Stay updated on IT trends and integrate new solutions to enhance service availability.
  • Ensure tasks and projects are completed on time.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Report significant issues to management promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Travel will be required specially at the beginning for training purposes and when and as required.
  • Have great hands-on experience in all areas to be able to cover and support any team member.
  • Exhibit great time management and flexibility as it is a must for the role.

Qualifications

Components for Success: You…

  • Hold a degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Have at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the IT field.
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience and practical knowledge of management and mentoring principles.
  • Have strong English language skills (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Demonstrate excellent networking and communication skills.
  • Can coordinate and manage a team effectively.
  • React quickly to different situations and solve problems efficiently.
  • Exhibit high stress resistance and the ability to work independently.
  • Have strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
  • Show great attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Are diplomatic and discrete.
  • Understand and use IT technical terminology and industry standards.
