In the Software Support role, you will support the development of software requirements and specifications.

Skills required:
The Software Support role is a very important part of our Technology team, in this role you will:
  • Support software Engineers in software architecture development
  • Support the Software team with testing and updating detailed software design
  • Abiltiy to understand Coding of software for updates
  • Execution of unit, subsystem and system tests
  • Support in the creation and/or review of test procedures for each requirement
  • Support in ensuring the adequacy of test procedures
  • Tests of partially or fully integrated systems/subsystems
  • Testing of the system against its requirements and documenting to what extent the systems meets the integration and/or acceptance requirements.
  • Execution of dry runs and complete acceptance test procedures and preparation of a test result reports.
  • Support in the implementation of quality tests with end customers and, if necessary, documentation in a final report
  • Work with the joint team to achieve defined project milestones as per schedule
  • Support Customer Reviews (support formal reviews with customers as required by assigned project)
  • Creation of regular backups of SW Packages
  • Assistance with acceptance tests
  • Support in creating the master configuration by testing SW updates and bug fixes
  • Support preparation of CCB presentation when releasing a new Master Load to the Customer
  • Support of the client/user in the acceptance phase
  • Schedule and coordinate hardware and software integration tasks with other groups and local team.
  • Improve SW maintenance activities developing scripts and/or procedure to optimize activities (e.g. Visual DB installation, Navigation DB updates)
  • One to three years of professional experience in a comparable position
  • Experience in software testing
  • Knowledge of agile software development
  • Knowledge of programming languages ​​such as C, C++ and various operating systems
  • Knowledge of related work areas would be an advantage
  • Understanding of simulation technology desirable
  • Understanding computer and avionics interfaces (Ethernet, 1553, Arinc) desirable
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Customer-oriented work
  • Willingness to travel required (within Italy and abroad)
  • Occasionally Night shift work may be required
  • He/She is available to travel up to 2-30% of the working time (Italy and abroad)
