Job Description
As a Junior Copywriter at Zones, you'll craft engaging marketing copy across various channels (campaigns, websites, social media, etc.). You will collaborate with designers and other teams to ensure on-brand, high-quality content. Responsibilities include conceptualizing copy, editing, proofreading, adhering to style guides, conducting research, and managing a content calendar. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional writing skills, strong organizational abilities, and familiarity with SEO principles. A background in marketing, communications, or journalism is preferred. Knowledge of the IT industry is a plus.

Position Overview:
We seek a skilled Jr. Copywriter to join our marketing team. As a Jr. Copywriter, you will craft compelling and engaging copy for various marketing channels and campaigns. You will also lead a team of copywriters, ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in style, quality-driven, and aligned with our company's messaging, tone and voice, and company goals. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of creating impactful copy, strong leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do as the Jr. Copywriter:

- Conceptualize and develop creative and persuasive copy for marketing campaigns, advertisements, websites, emails, social media, corporate collateral, and other channels.
- Collaborate closely with designers, Integrated Marketing, Website team, and other teams to understand project requirements, target audience, and objectives.
- Edit and proofread copy to ensure clarity, grammar, consistency, and brand voice and tone adherence.
- Understand and follow AP Style Guides for copy consistency and adherence.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in copywriting and digital marketing. Knowledge of the IT technology industry is a bonus.
- Conduct research and interviews to understand customer needs and market trends.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content.
What you will bring to the team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field (preferred).
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Ability to adapt writing style to various tones, voices, and platforms.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in SEO principles and content optimization.
