As a LiveOps Product Manager for Goodgame Empire, you'll be responsible for managing and enhancing the game through strategic initiatives, player feedback, data analysis, and AI insights. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, develop, and maintain game features to maximize player engagement, monetization, and retention. Heavy use of AI tools is expected, along with documentation and presentation of designs using various methods. You'll also adapt successful game mechanics from other genres. This role requires a background in game design (free-to-play focus), understanding of LiveOps dynamics, and proficiency in tools like Google Sheets and ChatGPT. In this role, you'll join the Empire Family Team working on Goodgame Empire, Empire Four Kingdoms and future additions to the franchise, to collaborate closely with our 30+ dedicated professionals, employing your initiative and strong communication skills to seamlessly integrate your ideas into our MMO pioneer games with more than 200 million registered players worldwide and a history of more than 1bn € in revenues. 

Your assertiveness and drive to achieve success are vital as you spearhead AI innovation in Online Games, ensuring our games not only captivate our players but also contribute significantly to our business growth. Your Mission

  • You diligently manage the Empire Family games through the incorporation of strategic initiatives, player feedback, as well as data analysis and AI insights.
  • You work closely with cross functional teams with a focus on defining, designing, developing and maintaining game features with the aim to maximize player engagement, ensuring effective monetization and player retention.
  • Heavily utilize AI tools in your daily work to leverage your own output, ensuring a cutting-edge gaming experience for all players, but always with business goals in mind
  • Document and present your input using user stories, flowcharts and wireframes to clearly communicate your designs to all teams and stakeholders.
  • Skillfully transfer and adapt successful game mechanics from various genres.

Your Backstory

  • Background in game design or similar with focus on free-to-play games
  • Deep understanding of LiveOps game dynamics, including monetization strategies, in-game economies and player behavior
  • Strive to take ownership and excel in getting things done by getting your hands dirty in Google Sheets, ChatGPT or similar
  • As a resilient, detail-oriented team player you are passionate about seeking new ways to enhance performance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
