Must have:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in finance (CPA or CFA)
  • 5+ years of experience, 3+ in financial due diligence
  • Fluency in English and French
  • Strong analytical skills & proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint
  • Understanding of IFRS, US GAAP
Good to have:
  • Additional language proficiency
  • Experience with PowerBI, Alteryx
  • Experience with large companies & private equity funds

In Transaction Services you will be at the forefront of our client’s M&A activity and lead exiting projects and multidisciplinary, first in class teams.

We are looking for a motivated team player who can help us deliver outstanding client projects and advance our team. A career within the Deals Transaction Services team will provide you with the opportunity to help clients achieve maximum value with their M&A activities. We focus on evaluating M&A projects in due diligence, pre and post completion. We conduct pre deal and confirmatory due diligence, execute large-scale enterprise wide integrations, and support complex divestitures and separations on a wide range of functional and cross-functional areas.

Your tasks

  • You will help our clients with dedicated support for transactions in a wide variety of industries and circumstances (acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures & structured investments).
  • You will have the opportunity to work across the areas of buy-side due diligence, sell-side assistance and vendor due diligence, deal and negotiation support for both corporate and private equity clients.
  • You will collaborate with other experts to develop a rapid understanding of the client's business and issues, and articulate your findings appropriately in order to deliver high quality reports.
  • You will work in a diversified, international environment covering multiple areas and industries.
  • You will collaborate with a network of highly talented and knowledgeable experts.

Your profile

  • You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have a background in finance (CPA or CFA).
  • You have a thorough understanding of financial accounting and reporting requirements in accordance with internationally recognized reporting standards (e.g. IFRS, US GAAP).
  • You have at least 5 years of work experience, including 3 years in providing financial due diligence and other transaction-related services to large companies and private equity fund clients.
  • You are fluent in English and French (mandatory criteria), any other language is a plus.
  • You are energetic, proactive, able to empathise with clients and staff, and are enthusiastic about delivering value to clients.
  • You are flexible and demonstrate willingness to conduct business travel for client assignments or business-related matters.
  • You have excellent analytical skills and are experienced in using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and additional analytical software tools (e.g. PowerBI, Alteryx) to analyse and present data in a meaningful and efficient way.
