Job Description

The ML Application Engineering Team aims to help customers solve complex engineering challenges in the automotive, aerospace, and energy industries. They collaborate with engineering and design teams to understand their needs and accelerate conception processes using their platform. By leveraging 3D deep learning, they empower customers to develop better products faster. The role involves running projects with customer engineering teams, developing tailored solutions, analyzing data using Python, applying deep learning tools to engineering/physics problems, delivering proofs-of-concept, and training customer teams on the NC platform. It also includes working with the product team to translate customer feedback into product improvements.
Must have:
  • Excellent understanding of Engineering and Machine Learning
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Physics
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Experience with ML/DL frameworks and libraries
  • Experience with simulation
  • Ability to convey technical concepts clearly
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English and French

The ML Application Engineering Team 

Our mission is to help our customers solve their most complex engineering challenges. We collaborate closely with engineering and design teams within the automotive, aerospace and energy industries, understand their challenges and pains, and help them identify solutions to accelerate their conception processes. We leverage our platform to unlock the value of the most complex Computer-Aided Engineering datasets and to create a direct impact on production design processes. Using 3D deep learning, we empower our customers to develop better products faster.

What you will do 

Our technology is raising strong interest from the engineering world, and the number of our users is growing quickly. As a key player in the team, your mission will be to establish trust and admiration from our customers by delivering high-quality technical work. 

 

While working towards this goal: 


  • You will run projects together with the customer’s engineering teams, develop tailored solutions and analyse data for each project using Python 

  • You will apply our deep-learning tools to different engineering/physics problems as well as deliver proofs-of-concept demonstrating how our technology creates value in CAE workflows.  

  • Train customer teams to effectively use the NC platform, ensuring smooth adoption into their workflows 

  • Work closely with the product team to translate customer feedback into product improvements. 

Who you are 

  • You have an excellent understanding of both Engineering and Machine Learning (strict requirement) 

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Physics 

  • You have strong experience with Python programming, and experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks and libraries 

  • You have experience with simulation 

  • Industry experience in CAD / CAE (CFD, FEM, etc) modelling is a plus 

  • You can convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling way 

  • You have excellent communication skills, enjoy working with people, and feel comfortable in the customer-facing role 

  • You are eager to solve real-world problems with machine learning and automation 

  • You are committed to a high level of professionalism and ethics 

  • Fluent in English and French

Where you will be 

Location: Lausanne or Zurich, hybrid schedule 

Travelling: We try to be close to our customers and meet them regularly. This position might require up to 25% travelling to customer premises.
