Motion Graphic Designer

Jam Studio is looking for a talented motion graphic designer to join our production team and help create engaging content for our story-driven gaming YouTube channel Bumpy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of YouTube, gaming, and internet culture and be able to use their motion graphic design skills to turn a script, assets, and voiceovers into captivating and high-quality pieces of content. This position is fully remote and will function as a contractor with an hourly rate of $20-30 CAD. 

As a motion graphic designer you'll be:

• Design and produce 2D motion graphics
• Working closely with the writing team to turn scripts into action-packed videos
• Taking existing environmental assets, character animations, SFX, and voice-over recording and turning them into highly polished videos with a focus on storytelling.
• Working with the leadership team to improve videos with a focus on viewer retention

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe products, specifically Premiere Pro & After Effects.
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio of motion graphics work.
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
• Ability to create/use 3D environments using 2D assets
• Creative mind and strong storytelling skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to take and deliver constructive feedback.
• Comfortable meeting deadlines.
• A Passion for YouTube, gaming, and internet culture.
