POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsibilities include session support including setup of the video and network parameters, routing the proper video source and confirmation that picture is received at the destination.  Point of contact or producers/project managers and internal personnel for production related workflow, milestone, and deliveries.  The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot setup related issues and be able to fix or escalate issues in a timely manner.  Works with artists/production/engineering/scheduling team to ensure sessions start on time.  Equipment resource tracking within internal systems auditing tracker.

MAIN DUTIES:
In this role, you will be coordinating the day-to-day operations of CO3 Hollywood. This includes resource tracking monitors, control surfaces, and allocations within company provided asset management software, as well as setting up virtual sessions 30-60 minutes prior to session start working with artists/engineering as needed. The Operations Coordinator will communicate with staff and clients regarding specs required for virtual sessions, track and schedule current and future streaming requirements and securing pertinent details for testing new setups, and test and ensure connection paths are established a day or week ahead if applicable. Additional duties include:
  • Set up color suites per session requirements, 15-30 minutes prior to session start, confer with engineering and artists as needed. 
  • Attend daily production/operations meeting to plan for current/next day needs.
  • Document current processes and workflows affecting all technology departments.
  • Document best practices between technology department and production.
  • Communicate any machine downtime to the production maintaining operating status within resource scheduling software.
  • Client room maintenance: ensure suites and bays are both operationally and aesthetically ready for clients.
  • Manage color assist hours and assignments as needed.
  • Work closely with satellite sites both internal/external to our office in Hollywood: CO3 Exposition, UK, NY, TOR, VAN and ATL.

WHAT YOU BRING:
The ideal candidate will be extremely organized, resourceful and be a quick learner with exemplary attention to detail. They will have prior experience working in production or a similar fast-paced environment. They will be enthusiastic, self-motivated and results driven, and have the ability to troubleshoot under pressure. Additional desired skills include:
  • Ability to work O/T and/or weekends based on production schedule.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, a must.
  • Proficient with Mac, PC, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Solution-focused approach to challenges and conflicts.
  • DaVinci Resolve, Filmlight Baselight experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of Linux a plus.
