Job Description

Boomi is seeking an experienced Partner Manager to lead business expansion in the Japanese market. This role involves building and nurturing a partner ecosystem, identifying and qualifying sales activities, and developing strategies with partners. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams such as Sales, Partner Enablement, Marketing, and Professional Services to ensure the success of Boomi, its partners, and customers. The ideal candidate will leverage Boomi's resources to drive growth and contribute to the company's success in new territories. The job emphasizes fostering strong partner relationships, understanding how technology solves business problems, and driving sales through various channel partners like Value Added Resellers, GSIs, Local SIs, OEM Partners, and Technology Partners.
Must have:
  • Business Transformation experience
  • 8 to 12 years of field sales experience
  • Understand technology solutions for business problems
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
Good to have:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Channel sales/partner business development experience
  • Experience proposing/implementing technology products in Japan

業務内容

  • 再起動する“スタートアップ企業”として、日本市場でのパートナーエコシステムの構築する
  • パートナーと連携し、双方にとって有益な営業活動、戦略、ビジネス機会を特定・評価する
  • パートナープランニングプロセスを通じて、パートナーとの関係性強化、エンゲージメント、共同目標の達成を推進する
  • 顧客ニーズに応じて製品・サービスを組み合わせたソリューションを提供し、Boomiの商機最大化を図る
  • 社内営業チームと協力し、技術的障壁の排除、ビジネスソリューションの構築、新規ビジネスの創出を支援
  • 特定アカウントに対する戦略・営業キャンペーンを企画・実行する
  • GSI、ローカルSI、OEM、テクノロジーパートナー、付加価値再販業者(VAR)など、多様なチャネルパートナーと協働する

  • フィールドセールス領域での8〜12年程度の経験

Partner Manager (PAM/BDM) – JAPAN


Seeking an experienced Partner Manager to drive the building of the Boomi business in Japan.

These territories will be primarily Partner Led, the individual will need to work very closely not on with existing and new Partners but also with; Sales, Partner Enablement, Marketing, PSO and General Management to ensure the success of Boomi, our Partners and our Customers in Japan markets.

The suitable individual will enjoy the challenge of driving a market leading business like Boomi into these exciting new territories and to leverage all of the Boomi assets that are at our disposal.

Partner Business Development Manager (BDM)

When you’re driving human progress through innovative technology, you find every way you can to let the world know. That’s where Channel Sales comes in. Assigned to a particular territory or a specific partner, our teams are dedicated to driving sales of Boomi's products, systems and services. The focus is on getting the very best from a host of various Partner types:

     * Value Added Resellers

     * GSI's

     * Local SI's

     * OEM Partners and

     * Technology Partners.

Our task is to discover what works and to constantly explore ways to make it work even better. These relationships can change everything.

What you will achieve;

As a Partner Business Development Manager, you will work with channel partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies and business opportunities, all in the service of optimizing sales execution so that service level agreements are met.

You will:

  • Work with our Partners to identify and qualify mutually rewarding sales activities, strategies and business opportunities
  • Manage the Partner relationship, engagement and achievement of joint objectives through the partner planning process
  • Identify cost-effective and practical alternatives for the Partner(s) by bundling products/service “solutions” to maximize our opportunity while meeting customer’s needs
  • Work with our Sales teams to drive all lines of business, removing technical barriers, architecting business solutions and bringing forward new business
  • Develop and implement strategies and sales campaigns for targeted accounts

Essential Requirements

  • Business Transformation experience
  • 8 to 12 years of related field sales experience
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
  • Strong communication, collaboration, negotiation and executive presentation skills and the ability to provide insight and thought leadership to senior level leadership and executives
     

Desirable Requirements
 

  • Bachelor’s degree
