Envision yourself at Barracuda 
 We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Product Pricing to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that maximize profitability, drive revenue growth, and enhance our competitive position in the market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Marketing, to ensure our pricing strategies align with overall business objectives.
What you will be working on: 
  • Create and execute comprehensive pricing strategies for all cybersecurity products and services, ensuring alignment with market demand, competitive landscape, and business goals.
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to understand industry pricing trends, customer needs, and competitor positioning.
  • Design and implement innovative pricing models, including subscription, usage-based, and value-based pricing, tailored to different customer segments and product lines.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of pricing strategies, making data-driven adjustments to optimize revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure pricing strategies are effectively communicated and implemented.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback and buying behavior to inform pricing decisions and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Work with the Finance team to develop financial models that support pricing decisions and evaluate the impact on profitability.
  • Provide pricing support for new product launches, ensuring pricing strategies are integrated into go-to-market plans.
  • Ensure all pricing activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
What you bring to the role: 
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in product pricing, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with pricing software and tools is a plus.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a collaborative and strategic mindset.

The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $199,916 to $219,500. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.
