We are seeking a detail-oriented Privacy Officer to join our organization's data protection and privacy initiatives. You will support the Privacy Team in ensuring compliance with relevant privacy laws and regulations, developing internal policies, and conducting data protection due diligence on business partners. Responsibilities include assisting in drafting and reviewing data protection agreements, updating records, contributing to GDPR onboarding/monitoring processes, and supporting GDPR projects like culture and awareness initiatives. You will also stay updated on legislative and technological developments impacting privacy and assist in drafting/reviewing privacy policies and notices.
Must have:
  • Graduate or Diploma in Law, ICT, or Business.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in betting and gaming.
  • Strong interest in Privacy and new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and adaptation skills.
  • Ability to think outside the box.
Good to have:
  • Prior experience within the iGaming sector.

ABOUT THE ROLE           
We are seeking a detail-oriented Privacy Officer to participate in our organization’s data protection and privacy initiatives. In this role, you will support the Privacy Team in ensuring compliance with relevant privacy laws and regulations, developing internal policies, etc.  If you are passionate about safeguarding personal information and promoting a culture of privacy compliance, we’d love to hear from you.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:       
  • Supporting the Privacy Team on the conduct of data protection due diligence on business partners and the relevant onboarding, including assisting in drafting, reviewing data protection agreements or terms as may be required, as well as updating relevant documentation and records such as the asset inventories and data processing records.
  • Contributing and collaborating with other team players on the GDPR onboarding/monitoring process for providers, including conducting reviews and ensuring proper onboarding and offboarding measures are implemented.
  • Providing input and collaboration on dedicated GDPR projects, including GDPR culture and awareness, as well as other related tasks assigned from time to time.
  • Keeping up-to-date and supporting the Privacy team in providing insights on both legislative and technological developments having an impact on privacy.
  • Supporting the Privacy Team in drafting and reviewing of privacy policies, privacy notices or cookies policies for the Group or partners as may be required and other procedures with respect to personal data and GDPR compliance.
  • Conducting privacy-related research as assigned by senior team members and reporting on such matters.
OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Essential skills:
 
  
  • Graduate or Diploma level in Law, ICT, Business or another discipline relevant to the Privacy field.
  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the betting and gaming industry.
  • A strong interest in Privacy area and new technologies.
  • Excellent communication and adapting skills. Ability to think outside the box. 
Nice to have skills:   
  • Prior experience within iGaming sector.
