The Product Manager, CMP (Ads) at Netflix will own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Consent Management solution. This role requires close collaboration with Privacy, Legal, and other cross-functional teams (sales, ad operations, marketing, etc.) to ensure compliance with regulations like GDPR and CCPA. Responsibilities include prioritizing the product roadmap, managing product delivery, formulating long-term strategies, and working with engineering, design, and data science teams to bring products to market and increase adoption. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of product management experience, a proven track record of launching and scaling platforms, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Our Team:

The Ads Platform team builds the advertising systems and integrations that power the delivery of ads using our world-class content delivery ecosystem. We deliver ads in a manner that’s thoughtful of our members’ viewing experience and drives great outcomes for advertisers. 

Our team is new and yet faced with the ambitions of building highly performant advertising systems and delivering high impact to our business by monetizing our incredible slate of content. As one of the newest entrants in the Connected TV advertising space that’s rapidly growing, we seek to build unique value propositions that differentiate Netflix from other ad-supported streaming services.

We are looking for a Product Manager in the advertising space who is excited to join us on this journey.

About the Role:

This PM will be responsible for managing consent signals and states enabling ad delivery across Netflix’s ad ecosystem and working with a team of product managers across Netflix Ads to:

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our Consent Management solution, aligned with market needs and privacy regulations

  • Work closely with our Privacy and Legal teams, driving synergies among Consent Management and Orchestration

  • Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure product alignment with GDPR, CCPA, and emerging privacy regulations

  • Serve as the subject matter expert on consent management platforms and privacy technology

  • Prioritize the product roadmap, managing near-term product delivery while formulating a long-term product strategy

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in sales, ad operations, marketing, strategy, policy, finance, and legal to bring products to market and increase adoption.

We’re seeking a candidate who has:

  • 6+ years of Product Management experience with a proven record of successfully launching and scaling platforms

  • Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product innovation

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights to drive product decisions.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Has experience collaborating with Insights, Design, Engineering, Data Science, and other Product Teams.  

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, with a strong ability to adapt to new challenges and opportunities.

Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $240,000 - $725,000.

We also offer paid leave of absence programs.  Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
