QA Tester

We’re FuturLab, the award-winning game studio behind PowerWash Simulator, the Velocity series, Peaky Blinders Mastermind, and many more awesome games.

FuturLab are looking for a QA Tester to join our team on an exciting, unannounced project. If enhancing the quality of a soothing, relaxing game sounds like your thing, then you should keep on reading!

We are hiring this role as remote; however, a successful candidate could be office-based or work a hybrid setup, if preferred.

Role and Responsibilities: 

• Executing scripted, exploratory, ad-hoc & regression testing
• Logging defects in the project’s bug database
• Providing general feedback to help improve end user experience
• Communicating and working with external QA teams
• Working in a fast-paced development environment, where priorities can quickly shift

• 1+ year of Quality Assurance experience in games
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have a sharp eye for detail
• Demonstrate analytical thinking and an aptitude for problem solving
• A passion for video games

Advantageous

• Experience with all PC and console gaming platforms
• Experience creating and maintaining test plans
• Experience with Microsoft, Sony & Nintendo certification requirements
• Knowledge of JIRA or similar bug tracking software
• A good understanding of the game development process
• A keen intuition and self-driven individual
